The pub The Tippling Philosopher closed on 31 December 2024 when my husband and I retired after 15 years here and 30 in the trade, in order to transform the then business into the new one which will be bed and breakfast when the planning commences. Which is expected to be late May. Watch this space for updates…. Our village is lovely and clean. Serviced by a lovely church which rings bells Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings (10am) We also have an award winning chip shop, a social club, a pub, a co op, a hairdressers and the award winning Clockspire restaurant.
