For sport, Altrincham FC and the Planet Ice arena (home to Manchester Storm ice hockey) are both within easy reach. Nature lovers can head to Dunham Massey, a stunning National Trust estate with a deer park, Georgian hall and gardens, just a short drive away. Getting Around: Altrincham Interchange is a one-minute walk from the apartment. From there you can catch Metrolink trams, Northern Rail trains and Bee Network buses all from one spot. Trams run roughly every 10 minutes into Manchester city centre, arriving in about 27 minutes. You can also reach Manchester Airport, the Etihad Stadium and Co-Op Live arena by tram. Paid parking is available at Stamford Quarter Car Park, a three-minute walk from the property, at 10 pounds per day. Uber operates throughout the city. On foot, Altrincham Market and Goose Green are less than five minutes away. A 10-minute walk along the Bridgewater Canal takes you to Dunham Massey for a scenic escape.
