Cedar Hideaway - Guest Cottage in Harrison

Watch the wildlife in the river, walk to the beach for a swim & kick back in the hot tub next to the fire pit. Enjoy a picnic under our giant 22ft round old growth cedar tree. Canoe or Kayak down the Miami river or take a hike up the " Harrison Grind" Relax in your own private cottage & hot tub ! The entire property is yours to enjoy alone This cottage is one of the original summer cottages in Harrison Hot Springs.Built in 1949 we are located on the Miami river and a short walk to the lakefront. The space 9 steps up to the front door and into our farmhouse style mud room. This room is bright and sunny and the perfect place to sit in the window and enjoy the view. The dining area has a large table with 4 chairs and a bench seat(in the front hall). It is comfortable for 5 people. The kitchen is adjacent and has plenty of room for 2 people to cook up a delicious meal. The bedroom features a queen sized bed and picture windows facing the river. Open the windows and listen to the birds or keep it cool with the AC unit. The living room/2nd bedroom also faces the river and has large picture windows, a couch and a comfy queen sized sofa bed. This room features a 55" smart TV & surround sound system to make your movies come to life. We also have a large collection of DVDs to enjoy. This room has a door which makes the space 100% private when needed. Our bathroom has a glass shower stall and single sink vanity. The shower features a double shower head with several settings and is quite nice. Our basement area is not included in the rental. It is used for storage only. Nobody will be in this space during your stay. Guest access We have a single lane gravel driveway which can easily accommodate 2 vehicles. There are also 2 public street parking spots directly in front of the cottage. Other things to note Please let us know if you’d like both beds set up for your stay.
