Located in a rural subdivision near downtown Huasca de Ocampo, a magical town near Mexico City. Looking for something special? You found it. It's not just another cabin. It's a refuge for two. The cabin has a terrace with a barbecue and a fireplace. Complimentary coffee and a load of firewood. If you like nature, it's for you. The space It is a sustainable Chalet-type cabin, located in the middle of the forest. This romantic retreat radiates magic with its two fireplaces, location, and warm light for those evenings in good company. Comfortably fits 8 people. The cabin has a loft, which has a double mattress and a sofa bed. A ground floor bedroom with a double mattress. There are 2 sofa beds which can be adapted as a bed. And additionally a niche next to the window for a person whose measurement is 1.60 meters, enabled with a foam mattress and cushions. And a single beanbag. IMPORTANT: it is recommended to bring a vehicle preferably with the characteristics of a van or SUV; since the road is partly dirt and cobbled. Also, please be aware that before arriving at the cabin there is a slope that for some cars may be a bit difficult. In case your vehicle does not go up, you can safely leave it before the climb and walk about 50 meters to the cabin. The apartment is rustic and thermal. The barbecue is on the terrace, where there are also reclining wooden chairs. In the kitchen there is a four-grill gas stove. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, pots, and pans. We do NOT have a microwave oven or blenders. Just a manual handle blender. The cabin has hot water. The river and waterfall are about 30 minutes from the cabin, walking along a path in the middle of the forest. The fireplace is on the terrace, with enough space for those evening evenings for good family and friends coexistence without forgetting the obligatory chocolates. As a last note: due to the subdivision's rules of coexistence, loud music is NOT allowed, nor making too much noise so as not to disturb the rest of the guests who are in the cabins next door. Thank you very much for your kind understanding and tolerance. IMPORTANT: In the rainy season, the climb before reaching the cabin can be difficult for some vehicles. It is recommended not to slow down and to be careful not to skid. It's not very steep. If you don't drive your vehicle up, you can safely leave it before the ascent. ✨ In addition, with your reservation you support the reforestation of the local forest🌱, as we allocate a monthly donation to a community cooperative. 📍 We are just 15 minutes from downtown Huasca and close to attractions such as the Basalt Prisms, the museum of the goblins, and the Peña del Aire. On average, 20 to 40 minutes depending on the distance. Take advantage and visit this magical destination. Guest access The cabin has a kitchen with a stove, sink, dishes, glasses, and pans. The fireplace is perfect for heating the common area where the sofa bed is. It has a full and private bathroom (with hot water). Very nice porch to spend time, resting in wooden chairs with a delicious cup of coffee. For those get-togethers on the terrace, there is a barbecue grill so that you can enjoy a roast and can get together with family and friends, equipped with chairs and a fire pit. Other things to note IMPORTANT: Check-out is flexible as long as the reservation dates do not overlap. If the guest stays overnight for 2 nights or more, they are informed that the cleaning fee is charged only once, that is, at the time of delivery of the cabin. On subsequent days, there will be no cleaning service. If you want to bring your pet, please note that linen service (sheets and blankets) will not be provided. Before booking, please let us know the size and type of pet. Likewise, you must bring your pet's blankets, bed, and all necessary requirements. In case of any damage to furniture and/or hygiene caused by your pet (hair, poop, vomit) and not cleaning them, your financial support will be requested through the app for the repair and/or maintenance for these cases. Last but not least, every time you book a cabin, you not only enjoy a unique experience in nature, but you also contribute to the conservation of the forest. Part of your rent goes to a monthly donation to the local reforestation cooperative, supporting both the restoration of the environment and the livelihood of those who make this work possible. 🌿✨ Also, we leave a couple of bicycles for use within the subdivision.
