Enjoy hiking, biking, and swimming at nearby Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park, and restaurants that are a short drive away in Accord, High Falls, Rosendale, Stone Ridge, and New Paltz. Or just relax and take in the calm setting. A romantic getaway. The space The guesthouse combines modern conveniences such as an effective, energy efficient heating and cooling system and WiFi with hand built and restored furniture and lighting fixtures, making it a truly unique and comfortable space. It's private, but shares a beautiful 3+ acre property with my house and my dogs, cats, and chickens, as well as countless wild birds, deer, and other creatures. The guesthouse is accessed via a flight of stairs and so is unfortunately not handicap accessible. Guest access You'll have access to the grounds and deck with chimnea, but not my home, garage, or woodworking shop. Other things to note My guest house is located in a remote, rural area. A car is necessary to get here and to get around once you are here. During the winter months inclement weather can leave the roads and driveway marginally passable at best. Please do not book during the winter months unless you have an all wheel drive vehicle.
