Guest access Guests will have full access to the home while there. There is one supply closet that will be locked to guests. This is near the entrance to the home, on the outside of the house. Other things to note Access & Parking Access to the home is via a staircase leading down to the property and beach. The home is not suitable for travel trailers. Parking is limited to three vehicles, two spot in front of the garage and one spot in front of the house on the street. Larger vehicles or boat trailers may have difficulty navigating the area. Please be respectful of neighbors and avoid blocking any driveways or access points. Tide Changes Hood Canal transforms throughout the day with its dramatic tides, revealing an ever-changing landscape of shimmering water and exposed shoreline. At low tide, you’ll find oyster beds and tidepools to explore. When the tide rolls back in, the water rises right to the edge of the yard, offering a stunning view from the deck or hot tub as the tides ebb and flow. Close supervision of children and pets is needed. Shellfish & Foraging Depending on the season and local regulations, guests may have the opportunity to harvest oysters or clams from the beach area directly in front of the home. A valid shellfish license is required, and guests are responsible for checking all current regulations, property boundaries, and health advisories before harvesting. ****Any shellfishing and any consumption of shellfish is done at the guest’s own risk. We are not responsible for harvesting conditions, safety, or any illness, injury, or other issues related to shellfish collection or consumption. Please note that harvesting is permitted only within the beach area belonging to this property and not on any neighboring or private shoreline.
