Set in an elevated position facing Argostoli, close to the historic stone bridge of Devosetou, is a large residence in its own walled garden. The apartment is a two-story 250sq.mtrs . The first level has a large kitchen-dining room, living room with sofa bed and access to outside courtyards. The second level has three bedrooms, the 1st bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. It has its own bathroom and wardrobe room. The 2nd bedroom has three single beds, the 3rd bedroom has a double bed. Opposite the two bedrooms there is a children's bathroom. There is also a small room with a washing machine and cupboards with sheets and towels. All the rooms have access to terraces overlooking Lixouri and Argostoli. The capital, Argostoli, is a few minutes drive from the residence. The situation is not in the middle of a resort, so has a real authentic feel and it is an excellent base for exploring all of the Island. The monastery of Agios Gerasimos (8km) and Saint George castle just 8 minutes by car. There are several large supermarkets situated out of town and just 5 minutes drive from the property. The capital, Argostoli, is just minutes away by car or taxi (4km). Coast/Beach The famous sandy beaches of Makris and Platis Gialos in Lassi are just 8 minutes drive away. Fanari & Gradakia beach are about 9 minutes drive. The main beach featured in Captain Corellis Mandolin, Antisamos, is 20 minutes by car. The famous Mirtos beach is a 25 minutes drive. The beaches of Lourdas,Trapezaki , Katelios & Skala are about 15 to 35 minutes drive. The position of the property is central to the whole of the Island, making nowhere too far. How to get there Argostoli Airport is 15 minutes drive maximum. Argostoli Port is 5 minutes, Poros Port 40 minutes, Sami Port 20 minutes and Pessada Port 20 minutes drive.
