Your group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located mountain stay. Children stay free and are not included in the guest total; bunk beds are intended for children. If travelling with kids, please let us know when booking and include how many so we can prepare the space. The 1,000-sq-ft space is a first-level daylight basement in a three-level home. Located 5 minutes from town, 7 minutes from the hospital, and 8 km from China Ridge Trails for year-round outdoor adventures. The space The property spans 3 acres and features a shared driveway that provides access to multiple properties. For safety and security, the property is equipped with two active exterior security cameras on the home's upper level. These cameras are directed toward the driveway and front yard and record both video and audio. There are no cameras inside the home, and all recording devices are located exclusively on the exterior of the property. The property includes an outdoor fire pit, which is available for guest use when permitted under current provincial fire regulations. Guest access We will provide a passcode for keyless entry at your private entrance. Other things to note Please note: We have three dogs that live on the main floor of the home. When outside, they are always kept on a leash or on the lead that extends to the upper portion of the property. While they may bark at unfamiliar noises, we do our best to keep them settled and minimize disruption. The house is connected to a shared central heating system serving both the basement suite and the upper floors. The heating thermostat is a smart device, located in the basement, and can be adjusted remotely as needed to ensure guest comfort. The air-conditioning thermostat is located on the upper floor. During the summer months, basement vents are closed, and propane heating is turned off while the upstairs air conditioning is in use. The basement typically maintains a comfortable ambient temperature just below 20°C. If additional warmth is desired in warmer months, the space can be easily warmed by opening window coverings to let in sunlight or by opening screened windows. For added comfort, the main common living area features an electric fireplace, perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere. Extra blankets are provided in the storage chests in each bedroom, with an additional quilt available in the single room closet. Registration Details Provincial registration number: H032504210
