It sleeps 10–16 guests comfortably across three levels. (Please note we do not allow more than 10- 13 adults. We have 10 adult beds, 3 can be shared): 🛋 Main Floor • Vaulted living room with flatscreen TV, wood-burning fireplace, and surround sound • Open kitchen with skylights, large island seating, and everything you need to cook and gather • Stunning sunroom with panoramic lake and forest views • Primary suite: king bed, gas fireplace, office desk, private seating area • Ensuite bath: walk-in shower, heated towel rack, heated floors 🛌 Upstairs • 2 Queen bedrooms with peaceful lake and forest views • 2 Bunk-bed rooms. Nearby activities include: • Boating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming on the Chain O’Lakes — multiple boat launches within 10–15 minutes • Hiking and nature walks in Chain O’Lakes State Park • Restaurants, pubs, ice cream shops, and small-town dining within a short drive • Seasonal fairs and festivals, local farmers markets, and outdoor concerts (summer and fall) • Bowling and movies theaters nearby • Volo Auto Museum — quirky and fun for families (15 minutes) • Lake Geneva, WI — upscale shopping, dining, and beaches (40 minutes) • Downtown Chicago — under 90 minutes (depending on traffic and patience) This location is perfect for families, friend getaways, creative retreats, or anyone looking for real connection and a real escape — without being too far from modern conveniences. ⸻ ⚠️ Security Deposit & ID Verification To ensure a safe and secure experience for both guests and hosts, we partner with ChargeAutomation to verify guest identity and collect a refundable $1,000 security deposit prior to check-in. • This is a temporary hold on your credit card, not an upfront charge. • The hold is automatically released 3 days after your stay, assuming no damages. • You will receive a secure link to complete the ID verification and deposit hold after booking. This process is quick, seamless, and helps maintain the quality of our home for all guests. Guest access Guests may access our entire property aside from closed-off storage areas. The garage and pole barn are used for storage and are not available for guest use. Guests must respect property boundaries and not trespass on neighboring properties. Other things to note This is our personal family vacation home, not a full-time rental — please treat it with care and respect. • NO PETS (unfortunately, no exceptions) • NO FIREARMS of any kind on the property • NO fireworks of any kind on the property • No parties, events, or outside guests not staying at the property without prior written approval. • Some personal items remain in the home — please treat them respectfully • No formal dining room: we have a large kitchen island and outdoor seating, plus folding tables and chairs available for group meals • The dirt road leading to the home can be subject to potholes — please drive slowly and carefully at all times • Ring security cameras are installed on the exterior (doors, barns, deck near hot tub) for property security • Maintenance visits: During your stay, it’s possible the property may be accessed briefly by landscapers (mowing), hot tub service, or for boat access from the barn. These schedules are outside our control, but service crews are quick and respectful of guest privacy • Real nature: Trails are maintained but you may encounter wildlife, insects, fallen branches, poison ivy, or ticks — part of the adventure of staying on 15 acres
