To maintain a peaceful environment for everyone, quiet hours begin at 9:30 PM. If you plan to bring a pet, please inquire about our Pet Policy in advance and provide the breed and weight of your animal prior to booking. Please note that Malibu is a high fire-risk area, and for everyone’s safety, fireworks and open flames are strictly prohibited. We kindly ask all guests to help us protect our community and the surrounding natural environment. For long-term stays (28 nights or more), a $1,000 security deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. In comparison to traditional long-term rentals—where deposits typically range from one to two months’ rent—our deposit is intentionally modest, serving as a gesture of commitment rather than a financial burden. The full amount will be returned on the same day your lease ends, provided there are no damages or violations of the agreement.
