This is a small, cozy cabin on the end of a private lake near Wasilla. It's a great place to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. You get views of the mountains and a perfect, secluded retreat that's close in, easy to access and comes with all the basic amenities. It is a bit rustic with a low volume water supply and is not suited for anyone with mobility challenges due to stairs. However if you are conservative with your water needs and are looking for a beautiful Alaskan retreat, this is it. The space The main floor features a small living area, open kitchen/dining area that looks out on Bruce Lake. There is a deck off the dining room where you can sit and enjoy the view and abundance of wildlife. A walkway to the lake gives you easy access and a dock and bench to enjoy the park-like setting. Please be water-safe and wear a life preserver around water. Guest access Guests enjoy the entire cabin. The owner has several outbuildings including a garage on the property which are not accessible to guests. Other things to note The most important thing guests must be aware of is the limited water supply. There is a shallow well that supplies the water so guests must be aware and conservative.
