Description
Welcome to The Gannet, a charming studio retreat in one of the most breathtaking locations on the Avalon Peninsula. There are three units that comprise the Whale Watcher - The Puffin, The Loon and The Gannet - and the latter is the smallest. The private deck has comfortable chairs and a BBQ. Extraordinary ocean views lie just beyond your front door. The Gannet offers flexibility: an adjacent unit can be combined to create a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath option. This unit is The Eagle. The space Accommodations The Whale Watcher's Gannet unit is a cozy, self-contained studio, complete with everything you need for a peaceful stay. Although a stand-alone studio/apartment, for larger groups or families, the Gannet can be seamlessly combined with an adjacent unit to create a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. We have labeled this option The Eagle. Outdoor Spaces The Gannet has its own deck, with two deck chairs and its own BBQ. It does not afford a view of the ocean, however, the garden does! From there enjoy the sprawling seaside setting that has made the Whale Watcher one of the top choices for East Coast Travelers. Take advantage of loads of additional seating to relax in the clean coastal air. The Gannet is simple and affordable. Full bathroom with oversize shower; queen sized bed, functional little kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster, sink, and all kitchenware. For those who enjoy grilling, a BBQ is available for your use, on your own deck. Amenities The Whale Watcher is equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay: Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, cutlery, and linens (sheets and towels) Cozy small eating area with a table and two stools Two armchairs for relaxing indoors Small deck seating for two, ideal for morning coffee or evening stargazing; a better choice, would be to take wraps that are available, and come out to the garden to the Adirondack chairs, and enjoy the view, and the stars!!
