T or C's newest revitalized historic motor court! If you’re looking for some historical throwback, the Ash Suite is our heritage suite, located in the original 1937 building. The founders of Hoosier Hot Springs, H.B. Lotz and his wife Jennie, first used this space as the office for welcoming auto tourists and hot springs bathers. The space This suite has a spacious open plan, where a large archway provides access from the main gathering area to the bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The gathering area includes a dining table for four, as well as a sitting area with wingback leather lounge chairs. The kitchen includes a microwave, small format refrigerator, and toaster. Coffee and tea service, plus an on-demand reverse osmosis (RO) purified drinking water system round out the kitchen. An outdoor seating area for two is located right outside the entrance, and looks out to the original courtyard. While local legend is that Jennie Lotz had quite the antiques collection, this suite is now appointed with artisan-made Southwest style furniture and original photographs and artifacts, with an ambiance of rustic elegance. The suite includes a custom-built dining table with a draftsman’s twist for Harold, who was an architectural engineer and designed the Hoosier buildings. What we love most about The Ash Suite: A game of cards at the dining table, the original hardwood floors, and the courtyard view from the patio. Guest access HOT SPRINGS: Guests of the inn receive a complimentary 1-hour soak with each night of their stay, discounts for additional soaks, plus priority hot springs reservation assistance. Four private hot springs soaking areas are available, including three new outdoor pools and the original 1937 indoor bath. Your confirmation message will include information on how to schedule your complimentary hot springs soaks. COURTYARD: Your suite is adjacent to the original 1937 courtyard. You'll have your own table and chairs for two in a semi-private setting, plus use of the courtyard. GUEST LAUNDRY: A coin-operated laundry room is on the premises. DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA: All indoor and outdoor spaces on the property are non-smoking except for a designated area on the northeast corner of the parking lot. No smoking nor vaping is permitted in your space. Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTE: This suite is located on Austin Street and you may hear the occasional hot rod, siren, or other TorC “city sounds.” If you are sensitive to noise while sleeping, please check out our other rooms and suites for quieter options.
