Summer offers a wide range of activities as well. The hiking trails that start at the cabin are perfect for hiking and mountain biking. The mountain bike park at the Red Cross Center Merket is about 10 minutes from the cabin. Mountain lakes in the area give you great fishing and paddling opportunities. Tisleia is one of Norway's best mountain trout rivers. Here you will find both forest and mountains - Tisleidalen is perfect for families with children. Jettegrytter in Åbjøra and at Kvitingen, which are traces of the ice age, are worth a visit.
