On the ground floor is one additional bedroom which has a queen bed and baby crib. A handicap accessible, full bath is also on the first floor. An open floor plan includes the kitchen, dining and living area. A pool table is there for your enjoyment. A fireplace in the living area will keep you warm if the nights get cool. One of the sofas converts to a queen bed. An enclosed washer and dryer off of the great room are provided to long term rental guest only. (1 week or more) You enter the loft area from the top of the stairs. Two bunk beds, a twin bed, sleeper sofa making a twin bed and 42" TV are in this loft. The mini-fridge makes it convenient to keep drinks and snacks upstairs. Full stereo sound throughout loft make it a favorite spot. At each end of the loft is a bedroom and a full bath. Each bedroom has a queen bed. You have a large deck overlooking a private creeks and trail. The pool provides hours of fun for all. You can grill on the charcoal BBQ pit as you enjoy dining outdoors on the picnic tables and watch the children play on the playscape. This 14 inch Canadian log home is very secluded on 5 acres. Located at the top of the driveway is a place to park your watercraft. Although this cabin is not on the water you are only about 1/2 mile from the water front commons area. You can spend an hour or the day at the common area. The sand volleyball court, rope swing and swimming area are just a few of the amenities. Horseshoes, washers and other outdoor games are available. The beautiful patio area behind the office gives you plenty of places to sit and enjoy all the festivities when you need a break! Picnic tables are scattered about on the common area lawn. Some offer great views of the lake. In late May a water trampoline is placed in the lake for guests to enjoy. Fishing is also allowed all along the retaining wall. Remember to bring your license if you are 17 and older. The Sunset Pier is great for fishing or taking in a magnificent Hill Country sunset over Lake LBJ. What better way to end your day. Another attraction is the Sarayu Trail. It winds through the 170 acres of the log home resort. This trail gives you an opportunity to walk or hike through the undeveloped parts of Log Country Cove. Small wildlife and an occasional deer may cross your path. Spring brings a beautiful display of nature with the many wildflowers, but Mother Nature does her magic no matter the season. Another thing to consider while planning your activities are the watercraft rentals. You can reserve and rent a pontoon boat, ski boat and SeaDoos. If you prefer something you can put your muscles into try one of our canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards or paddle boats. They are inexpensive to rent and lots of fun.
