The Farmhouse next to Abandon Brewing Company
"The Farmhouse" is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. A restored 1800's farmhouse, it is close to the Village of Penn Yan, Keuka College, and Keuka Lake State Park and has amazing views overlooking Keuka Lake. The Farmhouse is on the same property as craft brewery and events venue, Abandon Brewing Company. Perfect for couples, families, groups, and furry friends (pets) who want to get away and enjoy the proximity to award winning wineries and breweries. The house is located on the grounds of Abandon Brewing Company which is located in the restored 1800's barn surrounded by old vineyards and apple trees. We are dog friendly, up to 2 dogs are allowed at the lake house, but there is a $100 fee. On the main floor of the rustic farmhouse there is a spacious kitchen, dining room, full bath, family room with a double pull out couch, and a bedroom with a King bed. The upstairs living area includes two bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and the other with two singles and one full bath. Grab a growler from the brewery and enjoy the view off the large front porch with a beautiful view of Keuka Lake! All 25 acres of the farm and vineyards. This is including the entire home, south of the home up to the pine trees, and north of the home up to the wooden fence. We love interacting with guests! Our Co-host Kerry is always available to chat in the app or by phone. Sarah and A.J. also are typically around on the weekends! The property is located minutes away from Keuka College, Keuka State Park, the Windmill Craft Market, and a myriad of wineries and breweries. The area is beautiful all four seasons; come see for yourself! There is a driveway that will comfortably fit about 4 vehicles. When traveling from wineries and breweries, we recommend calling Keuka Taxi! Uber and other ride shares are not widely available in this area. Our source of water is a well. There is a finite supply and should be conserved as much as possible. It is filtered and UV treated, but does have a sulfur odor at times. We don't recommend it be used for drinking. Therefore, we always leave our guests a supply of drinking water.
