In 1332 is the Waal amdied. First at Oostendam, later also at Heerjansdam. De Waal has a length of 8 km and runs from HI Craft, through Rijsoord to Heerjansdam. De Waal is a beautiful water for recreational use. For example, there are many boats, suppers, canoeists, swimmers and fishermen. You have the option to rent a boat or Sups from your stay. The boat costs €125.00 for 2 hours. €50 per additional hour. The paddleboards cost €25 per day per board. There are many restaurants nearby; some can also be reached by boat.
