Other things to note The Landliebe apartment was fully renovated and redesigned in 2024. We have tried to create an apartment where you can feel comfortable and find peace and relaxation. For example, with a good book in the “tower room” or a glass of wine on the terrace or balcony, both with a view of nature. A fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, a bar table, and a Senseo coffee maker ensure that culinary delights are not neglected either. From the kitchen, you have direct access to the terrace, where a lounge set awaits you and you can start your morning with the sun. In the living room, on the cozy lounge sofa in front of the flat-screen TV, on the balcony in the evening sun, or at the dining table in the “tower room” during a game night, you can wind down after an eventful day before retiring to one of the 2 bedrooms, which are equipped with box spring beds (180 x 200 cm / 71" x 79"), to get enough restful sleep to start a new day of vacation feeling refreshed. The pillows and duvets are suitable for allergy sufferers, as they have a special cover. In the bathroom, which is equipped with a toilet, walk-in shower, washing machine, hairdryer, and toilet, your new day could begin. We are a family of three. The location of the apartment is rural, above the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is about 5 km to the main town of Braubach. This is where Stage 11 of the Rheinsteig hiking trail ends and Stage 12 begins, which you can combine with a visit to the Marksburg Castle. The world-famous Loreley is about 25 km away. In 2029, the Buga will run from the upper Middle Rhine – roughly along the Loreley – to Koblenz, which it will reach after about 22 km. Koblenz is the 3rd-largest city in Rhineland-Palatinate, with a fascinating old town, lovely bars and restaurants, and the option of taking the cable car to reach the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, located about 200 meters from the Deutsches Eck, the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. The spa town of Bad Ems is about 13 km away. This is where the German Kaiser and the Russian Tsar once met. Among other things, Bad Ems is known for its magnificent houses and a casino. The Emser Therme, one of the most modern and attractive wellness spas in Germany, offers you another opportunity to relax. But the many other castles, castle ruins, and palaces (28 in total), the steep vineyard hills, and the Lorelei rock in the Middle Rhine Valley could also captivate you during a boat trip on the Rhine or along hiking trails.
