Fully furnished studio cabin in Mazama’s Lost River, perfect for monthly stays for seasonal workers, contractors, guides, & professionals working in the Methow Valley—or for anyone looking to unplug, recharge, & reconnect with themselves. Includes all linens, cookware, kitchen essentials, & a detached bunkhouse for additional space. Just bring your clothes and settle in. Peaceful, private, and move-in ready with mountain views, incredible stargazing, and the quiet beauty of the North Cascades. The space The log cabin and bunk house are absolutely adorable and ready for you to relax, unwind, unplug, and enjoy. The cabin is studio style and offers a fully stocked kitchen, couch and chair, and king-size bed with a separate enclosed bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. Towels and washcloths are provided. There is a woodstove in the cabin, and firewood is provided. (From June to October, outdoor fires are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED) A barbeque grill and a 4 top table and chairs are located on the front deck along with a propane fire pit. The kitchen area has a sink, cooktop, microwave, toaster, french press, kuerig, air fryer and a popcorn maker. (there is NOT an oven) Dishes and utensils are provided. Dish towels, dish soap, and 409 cleaning spray are provided. There is a Bose speaker you can connect to and a smart TV. There is an exterior security camera. It will be on at your arrival, I turn it off as soon as I see you've arrived. The bunk house is DETACHED from the cabin and is cozy and cute. It has a queen size bed, sitting chair, night stands, and lamps. ( available upon request) Pets are allowed aka dogs. We do charge a $50 PER pet fee. Airbnb only allows a booking fee for 1 pet, therefore if you're booking is accepted with more than one pet, after confirmation, your charges will be updated via Airbnb accordingly. Easy access to Harts Pass, NORDIC skiing in Mazama, just 7 miles away, or downhill skiing at Loop Loop ski area 37 miles to the east, a 45 minute drive. If you haven't experienced traveling thru the North Cascades Eastbound, please be prepared for long stretches without cell coverage. Coverage stops at New Halem and starts again right before the turn off of hwy 20 to Mazama. Coverage will also be spotty on the 6.8-mile drive to the cabin. For calls while at the cabin, you need to turn on Wi-Fi calling. The Wi-Fi username and password are available inside the cabin. If you haven't experienced the North Cascades during the summer months please be prepared for VERY warm weather and lots of bugs. We are located in the foothills where there is not industrial spray for bugs. There is a portable A/C unit in the cabin. Connectivity & Mountain Conditions (Important) Traveling through the North Cascades — especially eastbound — includes long stretches with NO cell service. Coverage typically ends at Newhalem and resumes near Mazama, with spotty service on the final 6.8-mile drive to the cabin. The cabin uses satellite internet. During heavy snowfall or winter storms, this can result in NO Wi-Fi, which also means NO phone service and no TV during those times. Winter travel and living here is a true mountain experience and may include snow-covered roads, downed trees, power outages, and limited connectivity. We share this simply so guests can arrive prepared and enjoy their stay comfortably. Guest access Main cabin with king-size bed and bathroom. (studio style) If requested, access can be available to the bunk house with a queen-size bed, chair, small dresser, and 2 nightstands with lamps. (These guests use the bathroom in the main cabin) Additional $25 per person per night for the bunk house. We do allow pets with approval. If approved, the fee is $50 per pet. A 1-pet fee is automatically added to your total. If you have more and it is approved, an extra $50 per pet will be requested once your reservation is confirmed. Other things to note NOTE: The cabin is in the woods, at the base of the North Cascades. It is located in the Lost River Airport Association. In winter, expect it to be very cold outside and INSIDE the cabin when you arrive. In the summer, be prepared for wildfires, smoke, and possible power outages! There is wifi. The Wi-Fi username and password are inside the cabin. Turn on your wifi calling.
