Cozy double room

The Gästehaus am Schlossberg is located in the center of the Friedenfels Nature Experience Village and in the heart of the Steinwald in the northern Upper Palatinate—the ideal starting point for hikes and a retreat for relaxation. The nearby Steinwald invites you to hike, bike, and climb. The surrounding area is home to many hidden gems waiting to be discovered, such as castle ruins, a “stairway to heaven,” and fish ponds at the local fish farm. Within walking distance, you’ll find the village store, a butcher shop, a large playground, and several restaurants. Enjoy a relaxing vacation in a peaceful setting. Payment is due on-site in cash. Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge. Later cancellations will be charged at 60% of the total price. All of our rooms feature a balcony with a magnificent view of the village. Each room is equipped with double or single beds, a cozy seating area, a TV with all standard satellite channels, and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom, complete with a shower, toilet, and hair dryer, rounds out the experience. A free parking space directly in front of the house is available to all guests. Please note that pets are allowed only by prior arrangement. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements if necessary. Keys are handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code for the key box well in advance of your arrival. A crib or rollaway bed can be provided upon request for 10 EUR per night. Pets are allowed for a fee of 20 EUR per day. The visitor’s tax of 0.75 EUR per person per night for guests aged 16 and older will be charged additionally on-site. Payment is due on-site in cash.
