The Amherst Shore Oasis Cottage is situated on a spacious private lot within the community of Amherst Shore. Located along the Northumberland Strait, it offers direct access to one of the region’s most pristine beaches, providing you the opportunity to experience some of Canada’s warmest ocean waters. Whether you seek relaxation, adventure, or simply enjoy the beauty of fall foliage, the Amherst Shore Oasis provides an idyllic vacation retreat for all. The space We are situated directly across the road and will be available to assist you with any inquiries or provide additional information regarding the area. Please inform us if there is any way we can support your stay. We are conveniently accessible via phone call, text message, or by visiting us if we are home. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire property, which spans approximately one and a half acres of privately maintained grounds. This idyllic setting offers privacy and a ideal environment for engaging in outdoor games or simply relaxing. The cottage is equipped with a deck, outdoor chairs, an outdoor fire pit, and a barbecue. Other things to note You will have private access to the beach through the host’s property directly across the road (at civic address 6267). This is an excellent beach for family activities such as swimming, leisurely walks on the sandbars, beach glass hunting, games, golfing, and much more. We have a couple of beach chairs, pool noodles, washer toss, ladder golf game, and a few children’s toys for your use, as well as an all-terrain wagon to transport your belongings to the beach conveniently. A wooden ramp provides access to the beach from the shorebank; please use it at your discretion. There is a bonfire pit on the property for your enjoyment when burning restrictions are not in place. Please check the website (“Fire Restrictions - Government of Nova Scotia, Canada”) daily for burning restrictions, which are updated at 2:00 p.m. daily. We have firewood for sale if needed or you may bring your own. Please note that the cottage has a strict no smoking and no parties permitted rule.
