This room faces SOUTH overlooking the lake. Private beach, walking/biking distance to Harbor Springs. 1 double bed, with shared balcony overlooking Little Traverse Bay. 2 shared bathrooms. The house is 115 years old, there is NO insulation & NO heat or A/C in the main part of the house/bedrooms. We do have a heated kitchen & 3 piece bath & TV room for your us on the first floor. Electric blankets are available for the beds if needed. Sorry, no pets. LGBTQ Friendly. The room is 13' x 13' 3" On Little Travers Bay, 1.5 miles east of Harbor Springs in the Roaring Brook Resort area. Private beach. 1 double bed in the bedroom on 2nd floor with private sink. There are 3 other bedrooms available on the 2nd floor. 1 shared full bathroom on the 2nd floor and 1 shared full bathroom on the first floor. This is a 120 year old house. The walls are thin and bedroom conversations are best kept to a whisper. No insulation, no heat, no AC; but heat/AC are rarely needed in June and July. In the cooler months we have electric blankets if you so desire. Also there is a heated kitchen, 3 piece bath, and TV room for your use. We live on site, in the house. LGBTQ Friendly. Guests have access to the beach, veranda, main floor living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 shared full 3 piece bathrooms and access to the first and second floor. If guests use the canoe, guests will be asked to sign a liability waiver. We will do our best to help with any questions. There are many cultural and tourist activities within walking/biking/driving distance. This is a calm, serene, mature area; and you will be expected to NOT bother any of the neighbors with boisterous behavior. This is an excellent area for biking. There is NO public transportation to Harbor Springs or Petoskey; but there are Taxi cabs available. This is an excellent area for walking and biking. This is a 120 year old house. It is in a wonderful wooded area; there are birds, squirrels, spiders, etc. We do the best we can to keep nature outside the house, and are mostly successful. If your idea of 'camping' is the Holiday Inn Suites, this historic house may not be for you. Netflix, Kindle are available for your use.
