This property is unique in that you can be entertained and use all the facilities in the pub in just a few strides or alternatively you can remain private and totally self contained in a beautiful area of the Peak District. This large 17th century property is located in the village of Peak Forest in the centre of the Peak District National Park. Situated adjoining the village inn, Devonshire boasts its own enclosed patio ideal for groups of friends families and those with a dog, and provides the ideal holiday base from which to explore the Peak District. The spa town of Buxton is just 6 miles with numerous places of interest to visit within 10 miles including the market town of Bakewell, the stunning Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall as seen in TV’s ’Jane Eyre’, The Chestnut Centre, and the caves of Castleton, Edale and Eyam Hall. Slightly further afield is Crich Tramway Village, Alton Towers, Matlock Bath with its cable cars and Lyme Park NT and Hardwick Hall. Excellent walks literally from the door.
