The space The loft apartment is located on the upper level of the garage, adjacent to the main house. It is spacious, bright, and comfortably furnished, designed to make you feel at home. Guests are welcome to enjoy the patio, garden, and outdoor seating areas, as well as indoor spaces on the bottom level of the main house, including: - A yoga/meditation room with a 19th-century well - A versatile office/meeting room - A game room with darts and billiards In late summer and autumn, you can also enjoy fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. Guest access Guests have full access to: - The loft apartment (private for your stay) - Full bathroom, located at the base of the stairs to the loft (private for your stay) - Patio, lawn and garden areas - Office/meeting room - Yoga/meditation room - Darts/billiards room Other things to note Our home is built on the grounds of the old Skånevik shoe factory, a unique part of the village’s industrial history. The factory operated between 1898 and 1942, producing leather shoes, clogs, slippers, and shoe polish. Guests with an interest in history can receive a PDF presentation with photos and stories about both the factory and Skånevik’s development since the 1700s. We also like to play! Guests can borrow volleyball, frisbee, croquet, archery, and other equipment. Whether you want peaceful yoga in the Well Room, a barbecue in the garden, or a round of darts, there are plenty of ways to relax and enjoy yourself.
