A light filled and warm, free standing cosy home with high ceilings and modern finishes. Built in 1898, we fully renovated our house in 2021. Our house is perfect for 2 couples/4 friends or a small family that have two kids- baby and toddler. Also ideal for individuals on a business trip due to close proximity to Schiphol and Amsterdam Central. Main bedroom has a double bed. Second bedroom has a double bed. House is open plan and due to its age, the doors have shifted and might not close properly, so if you want total privacy then rather book at a hotel with two separate rooms. If you want the warmth and Dutch charm that only an old house can give, but with a modern designed touch, then book our place. On request we can provide a cot, a high chair, a few toys, kids utensils etc. Pets on request/under discussion. We would prefer if it was a dog that didn't shed hair. Guest access The whole house and garden deck will be free to use. (Please note that due to theft and or vandalism to some of our household items as well as orevious guestsnot following house rules, we have removed some artworks from the walls and lost some furniture on the deck (in an attempt to discourage guests from smoking weed on the deck and neighbours complaining). Other things to note Schiphol to accomodation: -Train 30 min. -Car 17 min Public transport to Amsterdam central 19mins: 9min walk from house to Halfweg-Zwanenburg train station, then take 10 min train to Amsterdam Central. Public transport to Leidseplein in Amsterdam city centre in 35min. (Leidseplein is a square where everything is pretty much in walking distance from here like Vondelpark, theatres, places to eat). Public transport to Haarlem by train 17mins. Public transport to Zandvoort aan Zee by train 27min. TIP: Download the app 9292.
