If you’re looking for fish, the local fisherman’s co-op in San Juan is a short walk down the waterfront in a small wooden building where a wide variety of fish come in every afternoon. . --------------------------- Food & other supplies --------------------------- Once you arrive at my house, there is a small shop nearby that stocks some basic supplies. Every other day a produce truck comes by the house with fresh fruits and vegetables. . -------------- Dining Out: -------------- A 3-min walk down the beach will lead you a 2 restaurants They serve everything local and Latin-American food to international classics. ------------ Activities: ------------ There are many great places to hike, both to other beaches and in the forest for bird and animal watching. . You can rent surfboards and take lessons at the end of the beach at the restaurants. . There is great fishing from the point at the end of the beach, and you can also arrange fishing, diving, surfing, snorkeling, and other tours from San Juan del Sur. Other things to note Given our location in a semi-secluded paradise, we sometimes deal with power outages. However, we have solar panels installed that provide some lighting when the lights go out and we have a water tank installed that provides water to a shower and an outside sink.
