Le Têr, gîte in Brittany

The Têr Gîte is a new construction, entirely built by our hands. It can accommodate up to 8 people, families, small groups of friends, for a few days or weeks. We are in a region rich in events of all kinds (parties, festivals, exhibitions) La Roche Bernard, small city of character 12 minutes away Beaches 25 min away Redon 25 min Guérande 35 min Vannes 35 minutes away Saint Nazaire 40 min Nantes 50 minutes away Brière Regional Natural Park Gulf of Morbihan Regional Natural Park The space The Têr Gîte is classified 3* in furnished tourist accommodation. The gîte, on one level, is insulated with straw bales, its untreated wooden frame and its 2 interior walls coated in raw earth give it great comfort. Most of the furniture was made by us, others were bought second-hand or come from donations. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for up to 8 guests. Enclosed garden with terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, microwave. It is open to the living room and has all the necessary equipment to cook. Bedroom 1 sleeps 4 people: 4 beds of 90 x 190 cm. Two beds are located on the mezzanine and access is not allowed for children under 7 years old. Access is via a miller's ladder (one for each bed at height). It is equipped with a dresser and children's games and books, but adults are also allowed ;-) Bedroom 2 consists of a 160 x 200 cm bed and a large closet with a wardrobe. It is equipped with a travel cot for a baby of 0-2 years old (mattress and fitted sheet provided. Sleep sack/baby blanket not provided). Bedroom 3 consists of a 160 x 200 cm bed and a large closet, as well as a bathroom (sink + 90 x 90 cm shower). A sliding door separates these 2 rooms. There are 2 separate toilets. A washing machine is available. A large bathroom with shower of 130 x 90 cm and 2 sinks. Living room with corner sofa and armchair. Dining room for 8 people. A wood-burning stove will bring you warmth and comfort! We do not charge a cleaning fee, but we want visitors to leave the accommodation clean and tidy (dishwasher emptied, sink clean, trash cans emptied, etc.). Guest access You have independent access to your accommodation, and have access to 2 parking spaces next to the house. Other things to note There is no TV. Blackout curtains are installed in the 4-person room. Towels not provided (extra charge). Parties are not allowed.
