The Logis à Porche & its Piano

🏘️ Located in the heart of a Petite Cité de Caractère, this residence is part of an architectural complex classified as "Remarkable" & "Protected", built between 1545-1759. Built on a natural rocky outcrop, the property enjoys an elevated and non-floodable position, offering both security and historic charm. The whole is harmoniously organized around a closed courtyard, guaranteeing calm and privacy. A stay full of history, in a preserved and secure heritage setting. The space The house has retained many period elements that give it its character: houteaux, old porch, traditional ovens, exterior stone staircase, original awning… So many authentic details that bear witness to several centuries of history and give the place a unique atmosphere. By taking the front porch, you access an enclosed courtyard that distributes several buildings. This accommodation, totally independent and autonomous, with an area of 97 m², is ideal and suitable for a stay as a couple, with or without children. You enter directly into the living room (kitchen/dining room), which opens to a workspace and serves a living room, then the bathroom with toilet. Upstairs, a landing distributes, on the left, a bedroom, on the right, a children's area, and a second separate bedroom (see photos). A door located upstairs at the exit of the staircase equipped with a lock makes it possible to secure the level. 🛏️ Description of sleeping arrangements: Living Room: - Double sofa bed (2 seats, limited comfort). Bedroom 1 on the landing (floor): - 2 single trundle beds (pull-out bed): 1 place each (90x190 cm). Attention: these two beds can not be attached to form a double bed. Junior space on the landing (floor): - 1 single bed (70 x 170 cm): sleeps 1. Bedroom 2 (floor): - 1 double bed (140 x 190 cm): sleeps 2 - 1 single bed (90x190 cm): sleeps 1. 👶Additional amenities for children - A high chair for babies, - A high chair for junior children. On request, we can provide you with: - A stroller, - An umbrella bed. 🍽️ Equipment for your meals - A barbecue is available for your use. On request, we can provide you with: - A raclette machine, - A pierrade grill, - Fondue machine, - A small electric plancha, - A waffle/croque-monsieur maker, - An electric mixer. Outdoor 🚴‍♂️activities Bikes and scooters available upon request: - 2 children's bikes (16 inches), - 2 children's scooters, - 3 adult bikes, one with a child seat. 🏀Games and equipment available: - Pétanque balls, - Tennis rackets, - Mölkky game, - Shuffleboard, - Dart board, - Soccer ball, - Basketball, - Frisbees, - Skateboards. 🎹 For music lovers - A 1970 PLEYEL Marigny upright piano, serviced and tuned, - A guitar by the luthier René Gérome, - A Yamaha CS40 Guitar in 3/4 size. 🧹No extra cleaning fee: everything is included in the price of the stay. We simply ask you to leave the property in good condition when you leave. Linens are provided (sheets, towels, tea towels, etc.), and the beds will be made upon arrival to make you feel comfortable right away. 🚶On foot, you can easily access local shops, sports fields and the Denée pond. ⚠️IMPORTANT: Our accommodation is not suitable for 6 adults. Guest access 🚗By car, the center of Angers and its Fortress (7th most visited cultural site in France) are 20 minutes away, Cholet 40 minutes, Saumur 50 minutes, Nantes 1 hour 20 minutes, Tours 1 hour 30 minutes, Rennes 2 hours and Paris 3 hours 20 minutes. Ideally located, close to the wine estates of Aubance, Layon, Savennières and its church (one of the oldest in France), you will also be 10 minutes from the island of Béhuard (recognized pilgrimage site and high spiritual place), 20 minutes from Terra Botanica Park, Château de Brissac (highest castle in France) and Parc de l'Étang, 30 minutes from the Bioparc Zoo of Doué-la-Fontaine and the troglodytic village of Rochemenier, 50 minutes from the Puy du Fou Park and the Oriental Park of Maulévrier, 1 hour from the Zoo de la Boissière du Doré, the village and the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud (ranked 8th "favorite village of the French 2025" and labeled "Destination of excellence"), the Château de Montsoreau and the Blue Mine, and 1 hour 20 minutes from the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. Parking is free on the streets, and parking is available 50 meters away, at the bottom of our street. 🚲Note: If you are a cyclist, your bikes can be safely stored under a porch. Other things to note ⚠️Important: Only guests registered at the booking are allowed to stay at the property. Parties and parties are not allowed. 🐶We live on site, in another building and use the courtyard to access our home. We live with our pets: a dog, a cat, a rabbit and a gecko. Summer / Winter Comfort: 🌡️The ground floor of the Logis is usually cool during the summer. On the other hand, the floor, located under the attic, can be more sensitive to hot weather. For your comfort, a portable air conditioner is available. It helps improve the atmosphere in hot weather, although its efficiency may be limited during episodes of high heat. ❄️In cold weather, the Logis is heated by cast iron radiators on the ground floor and electric radiators upstairs, ensuring a pleasant temperature throughout the stay Technical equipment 🛁 The accommodation is equipped with a 300-liter hot water tank, refilled during the night. 📶 The Wi-Fi offers a good connection with speeds measured at 52.34 Mbps in reception and 40.72 Mbps in sending. 📺 TV with access to CANAL+ / Prime Video / NETFLIX. 🌀 For extended stays, we can make our washing machine available, upon request. Opening period: 📅 The Logis is open for rent from March to November. 🔨 The winter period is dedicated to the maintenance of the buildings and the completion of the work necessary to preserve this place full of history.
