OKC Tiny Home - Near Plaza & Midtown

Have you ever watched one of the tiny house shows on HGTV and thought “I wonder what it would be like to live in a place like that?” Now is your chance to find out! This home has a tiny footprint, but is big on space saving features and comfort. Less than 1/2 a mile from the Plaza and just minutes from Midtown and Downtown, you're right in the center of OKC night life. Prefer a quiet night in? You have full access to the fire pit in the shared yard between the tiny home and the main house. The space The tiny home was custom built in 2017 and is completely separate from the main house. The Plaza district is less than 1/2 mile away. The Asian District, Paseo, Uptown, Midtown and Downtown are also less than a 10 minute drive. We have lived in the city for decades and are very familiar with all the best spots for food, drink, coffee, entertainment, etc. The space can accommodate up 3 guests: two on full size sofa bed and one in the twin size sleeping loft with ladder access. Large, north facing windows provide beautiful, natural light without the afternoon heat. Space saving solutions make the space feel larger with storage compartments inside the stairs, in addition to the kitchen cabinet and closet space. The kitchen is stocked with basic appliances: microwave, mini coffee maker, toaster oven, full sized refrigerator and two induction burners. Basic dishes, utensils and cookware also provided. There is no dishwasher or regular oven. The bathroom is stocked with towels and basic toiletries. The home also has an iron and washer/dryer combo. The combo unit is easy to use and perfect for small loads. If larger loads are needed, the full size washer and dryer are available in the main house upon request. There are also multiple laundromats nearby. Don't let the size fool you, our remote controlled mini split heat/AC unit is powerful enough to keep the entire place as warm or cool as you'd like, regardless of the outside elements. Guest access A code for the front door will be provided to guests prior to arrival. Street parking is free and plentiful. You will enter the back yard of the main house through the gate at the driveway. Please leave the driveway clear for the use of our tenants in the main house. Guests may enjoy full access of the deck, yard, and fire pit. We just ask that you tend your fire responsibly. As a courtesy to tenants in the main house, we ask that outdoor quiet hours are respected after 10pm on weeknights and midnight on weekends. Check in and check out are flexible based upon your needs and with courtesy to other guests who may have already booked reservations. Other things to note By nature, a tiny home is on the smaller side! The sofa bed is full size, but the sleeping loft and bathroom ceiling may feel a bit short for persons taller than 6' 2”. The the tiny home was built with the intention of being a quiet get away with opportunities to get out and see the local community and does not have a TV; however, wifi is provided.
