Slocan River Cabin

Cozy hillside cabin just across from the Slocan River and Crescent Valley Beach Regional Park. Perfect for couples, this peaceful retreat features a scenic deck with river views and a spacious, clean bathroom with shower. Enjoy nearby cross-country skiing on 50+ km of groomed Rails to Trails in winter, beach walks and river exploring in warmer months. Minutes from Frog Peak Café, grocery, and liquor stores. Highway 6N separates the cabin property from the Slocan River. Although there is some traffic noise during business hours the roadway quiets considerably at night. Our guests can expect a symphony of birds to greet them in the morning and occasional wildlife sightings. The water source is a well from a spring deposit under the Slocan River bed. Although being potable and packed with minerals, the water has a hard taste and permanently stains appliances. The Cabin is on the same property as a Distillery (which sourced our water for mineral content), a Rafting company, and a small campground inhabited by some rafting company staff. Guest access The access to the cabin is up a 75-foot road. Parking is available at the cabin for 4X4 vehicles while other vehicles can park at the bottom of the access road. Parking is for one vehicle only. Please note there are three steps leading to the cabin's front door. The bedroom is in a loft space accessed by a 50-degree angle 8-foot loft ladder.
