The space Lavender Cabin – A Woodland Chalet Retreat for Families & Friends Lavender Cabin is nestled on 160 acres of private forest, overlooking the Shuswap River and North Okanagan Valley. This spacious timber-framed chalet offers spectacular views, a private wood-fired sauna, and direct access to over 14 km of maintained trails for hiking, snowshoeing, or peaceful wandering. Perfect for group getaways, the cabin sleeps up to 10 guests year-round and 12 during warmer months. Cozy duvets, linens, and warm wooden interiors make this a comfortable home base in every season. Just 10 minutes from the Larch Hills Nordic ski trails, you’ll enjoy world-class skiing by day, and unwind in your private sauna or beside a crackling fire by night. The nearby towns of Salmon Arm and Enderby offer excellent dining, entertainment, and local attractions, making Lavender Cabin a perfect mix of wilderness and convenience. Cabin Amenities • Full country-style kitchen with all utensils, pots, pans, glassware • Salt, pepper, and a variety of herbal teas • Stove-top kettle, French press, and percolator • Wood fireplace heater inside - firewood to heat the cabin is included in the rental fee. • Two covered, furnished screened-in decks • Two full bathrooms + seasonal outdoor shower • Board games, books, and magazines • Outdoor BBQ and furnished patio • Wood-fired sauna ($30 fee, firewood included)) • Firewood for outdoor fireplace + fire pit ($20 per bundle) • Pet-friendly ($25 per pet) — Note: Dogs live on the property • Smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher • Access to 14+ km of private trails for walking or snowshoeing Important Notes • Sauna use fee: $30 per stay • Campfire wood for the outdoor fireplace + firepit $20 per bundle • During fire bans, the sauna may not be available. • The cabin is heated by wood stove — instructions provided. Firewood is included for heating. Lavender Cabin is your peaceful, private mountain escape. Guest access We have beautiful hiking/snowshoeing and bush skiing trails here on the property, feel free to explore the trails and look-outs, however the Larch Hills trails systems is only a 10 min drive away. Other things to note The Lavender Cabin is approximately 25 minutes from the nearest grocery store so stock up on supplies before heading up the hill. In the winter we recommend that you have a 4wd vehicle. ****The Lavender Cabin is heated with wood. We provide paper, kindling and wood, directions on how to start and maintain wood fires. The cabin has a stove top percolator and bodum coffee makers, and there will be an assortment of teas, and salt and pepper.
