Nestled along the Tuckaseegee River, the home boasts over 100 feet of private river frontage, offering direct access to some of the best fly fishing in the region. Cast your line right from the riverside deck, or simply sit back and watch the water flow by. With the charming town of Dillsboro just a short walk away, you’ll have easy access to local shops and restaurants. The home is also conveniently located with easy access to many area attractions including Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Inside, the home exudes comfort and warmth. Curl up by the fireplace after a day of exploring the Smokies or relax with a good book. Whether you’re whipping up a simple breakfast or a gourmet dinner, you’ll find everything you need in the fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy your meals at the dining table or step out onto the covered porch for al fresco dining as the river flows by. Bedroom 1- With views overlooking the back yard and the river, this bedroom features a king size bed as well as a rocking chair, dresser and smart TV Bedroom 2- This room also overlooks the yard and has a queen-sized bed, smart TV, dresser and vanity/desk Bathroom- Located in the hall with easy access to both bedrooms and the living area, the bathroom features a zero-clearance shower. Travel size toiletries are provided Living Room- The living room offers expansive views of the river from every angle. Open to the dining area and kitchen, the living room boasts two comfy couches as well as a rocking chair, gas fireplace and smart TV. The larger sofa is a queen sleeper sofa. Kitchen/Dining- Fully stocked with everything you need for a night in, the kitchen is equipped with quality cookware, an electric range, dishwasher and a Keurig coffee maker. Laundry Room- The full-sized washer/dryer are available for use during your stay Outdoors- The large, covered porch overlooks the river and features both dining and seating areas as well as a propane grill. Down the stairs, you’ll find a secure yard with full privacy fencing. There are several built in gates so that you can block access to either the yard or porch area as needed. Riverfront- Directly on the riverbank, café lights adorn the pergola covered deck making it the perfect place to spend the evening. Fishing- A North Carolina fishing license must me obtained prior to fishing any portion of the Tuckaseegee River. Fishing directly at the home is prohibited from March 1st until the first Saturday in April due to "harvesting". During this time, fishing is still available nearby. The home was designed to be the perfect retreat for your furry friends with a fully fenced yard and built-in gates to enclose the deck. Dog towels, blankets and bowls are provided. Crates are also available with prior notice. ***A “Pack n Play” and highchair are available upon request for use during your stay ***NO RVs or TRAILERS over 8 ft- The home is located on a single lane gravel road with inclines and several curves. 4wd is not needed Distance to nearby towns and local attractions: Dillsboro- Easy walking distance from the home!
