Amongst the golden cottages, this home sits in an elevated position with views across the surrounding treetops. Year-round, Glasfryn is a wonderfully comfortable place to stay. Once a well-loved family home you now benefit from the cosy woodburner in the cooler months, and the beautifully planted garden in the summer. The living room and snug become host to board games and evening drinks while the separate dining room provides the perfect opportunity to eat together and put phones away to enjoy conversation. The AGA in the kitchen is perfect for cooking up a feast and the bedrooms are light and spacious, two of which have an en-suite. Outside, fire up the BBQ and set the table for al fresco feasts, or enjoy the peace and quiet here in the mornings before filling your days with memorable activities. Surrounded by countryside with a plethora of charming villages to explore, Glasfryn is an unrivalled base for exploring this area. Bring your walking boots and take the family dog for a country stroll across the fields, head to nearby Batsford Arboretum, Sezincote House or one of the many towns and villages. Ground Floor Dining Room Set the table for ten and spend long evenings here over delicious home cooked meals. After the table has been cleared why not spread out the maps to plan where you'd like to visit the following day. Living Room Open the French doors to let the outdoors in as you reminisce with friends over cups of tea and biscuits. Lighting the fire in the evening you can linger, enjoying this time together. Snug With seating for four, any children in your group will love making this space their own, playing board games or watching their favourite film. Kitchen The traditional kitchen has space for quick breakfasts and has plenty of space for preparing a feast. With an AGA in the winter months, electric oven and a large fridge/freezer, you will find everything you could need for your stay. Utility Tucked away at the end of the house, the utility is where you find the washer/dryer and there is a handy sink, ideal for washing off mucky dog paws after a walk. Cloakroom With three bathrooms on the first floor, the ground floor cloakroom is an added bonus when you're heading out for the day. First Floor Bedroom One The spacious master bedroom has a super king-size bed and is light and airy. A day bed provides seating where you can curl up with a book as you wait for the rest of your group to be ready for the day. This room also has a walk-in wardrobe, perfect for getting dressed up for a meal out. En-Suite In the en-suite is a bath with a hand-held shower, and a separate shower, giving you space to bathe in peace knowing there isn't a queue forming at the door. Bedroom Two At the front of the house, bedroom two has a double bed with a storage headboard where you can keep your current novel ready for long lie-ins. There is a TV and desk space in case you need to catch up on any work. En-Suite Tucked to one side, the en-suite shower room has a rainfall shower so you can relax after a long country walk. Bedroom Three This light and bright bedroom has a double bed and is full of personality. Unpack and feel at ease here, perhaps catching up on e-mails at the desk or reading in bed. Bedroom Four Overlooking the garden, bedroom four has two single beds. Perfect for younger guests this is a generous room with plenty of space for games to be played. Bathroom With both a bath and a separate shower, you can unwind here after spending the day discovering the local attractions. Bedroom Five The final bedroom has a double bed tucked into the corner. A cosy retreat for a peaceful nights sleep, this room has a view across the garden. Outside When you arrive at Glasfryn you will walk through the front garden and spot the old covered well. There is a swing here which younger guests will love, and following the path around the side you will reach the main back garden. A lawn and a paved terrace offer space to sit together and soak up the Cotswold sunshine. Guest access Guests have full access to the house and garden. Other things to note • Book with us to get exclusive discounts to top attractions and experiences. • 1 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of £45 per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. When the garden gates are closed this area is safely enclosed. • There is a swing and covered pond in the front garden, please supervise children.
