The kitchen features an oven, two-ring hob, fridge, and dishwasher with all the essentials. Dine at the kitchen island with views of the countryside. Retreat to the bedroom, where a king-size bed, the highest-quality bed linens, and blackout blinds promise a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, loo, and basin with eco-friendly toiletries. Fluffy white towels and robes are provided. Guest access The Lodge is a private, self-contained cabin located at the edge of our property, with its own gated entrance and dedicated parking space for one vehicle. While we reside in the main house behind the cabin, you’ll enjoy complete privacy during your stay. We are conveniently located on the Yorkshire Coast, with approximate drive times of 50 minutes from York, 1 hour from Hull, 1 hour 15 minutes from Leeds, and around 2.5 hours from Manchester. GETTING TO BURNISTON By Train: The nearest mainline station is Scarborough, about 4 miles from Burniston. Trains run regularly from major cities, including York, Leeds, and Manchester. From Scarborough station, you can take a short taxi ride (around 10–15 minutes) directly to The Lodge. By Bus: Burniston is served by local bus routes connecting to Scarborough town centre and surrounding villages. The nearest stop is just a short walk from the village centre. For up-to-date schedules and routes, check the Arriva and Yorkshire Coastliner websites. By Taxi: Taxis are readily available at Scarborough station or town centre for a convenient and direct journey to The Lodge. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE - The ‘hot tub’ listed is actually an outdoor roll-top bath. - We have young children and a dog, so please take care when reversing into the driveway.
