The space The location favors birding and nature enthusiasts can enquire about our birchgrove rainforest extension The house is elevated on stilts giving the sense of living among the trees like a bird. We area near the Atlantic ocean so person can enjoy the cool Caribbean breeze through open louvres. We have installed burglar bars on the windows to accent your sense of safety. We are working towards completing that sense comfort and safety by adding video surveillance to the external grounds in the near future. Should you need a vehicle rental we can arrange- Separate fees apply. Contact us for details. Guest access Newly Constructed Wooden building accomodating 1 Bedroom, Living, Dining, and Bathroom. Set on stilts aloof from passersby and traffic. Access to the house is by stairway. No lift or elevator available. A quiet reprieve. No Smoking Please. Other things to note We have an electronic checkin and checkout system that guests are required to comply with using email or whatsapp. In the event of an emergency I need to know who is staying at my place and how to reach them. Person who cannot participate that way please indicate we will be happy to provide a paper based system. Our basic requirement is that upon checkin, the guest send us 4 pictures 1 or 2 more is ok of the main rooms ( Kitchen, living room, bedroom, & bathroom) and its contents which documents what the guest received and its condition. Upon leaving the guest sends me another 4 pictures of the same main rooms ( Kitchen, living room, bedroom, & bathroom) and its contents which documents what the guest has left behind and its condition. We wish everyone a say stay. We had some embarrassing surprises in the past where things we put in and expected to be there were not and this system we hope will help us avoid such embarrassments in the future. We think it covers the guest because there is evidence of what they received, and what they left behind with their digital signature ( email address or whatsapp number or paper signature). We will report failure to comply to Airbnb and asked airbnd to charge a $50 non compliance fee. Checkin & Checkout is a standard practice at all hotels I have visited.
