Lakefront ranch style cathedral ceiling cottage with 2 bedrooms,one with a queen bed and one with 2 twin beds. There is also a full pull out trundel bed on the glassed in porch and a couch in the great room that drops flat into a bed. Large great room with a propane stove with viewable flames. Enclosed porch with jalousy windows,a bath room with shower stall , attached laundry room with washer and dryer and a kitchen with everything you need . An outdoor deck,sundeck and private boat dock with 14 foot boat tied at the dock.The boat will accept up to a 10 hp outboard if you wish to bring or rent one locally. Enjoy fishing and swimming in crystal clear spring fed three mile long Echo lake which is well stocked with perch, salmon,bass and other tasty fish that you can cook up for dinner.The lake also has a public boat launch ramp if you wish to bring your own boat. There is room to park the trailer at the camp. After watching the spectacular sunset over the lake you will fall asleep to the lonely calls of the loons. you will leave here totally relaxed and refreshed. Many of our campers have been coming back year after year.A special place which gives new meaning to the term "peace and quiet". for the ocean and lobster lovers,quaint Boothbay Harbor is an hours drive from camp. You will find many gift ,souvenier and clothing shops in the area, including the L.L.Bean headquarters where it all began in Freeport . If you miss the city,Augusta, the capital city of Maine is 20 mins from the camp and offers shopping,movies musems ,restaurants and there is some fine antique shopping nearby. For the hikers and mountain lovers,Mt Blue's hiking trails and the famous Sugarloaf Ski Area in Kingfield are about an hours drive. There is also golf in the area as well. there is something for everyone. There is a firepit , gas grill, small charcoal grill, deck chairs and table . you can walk the crushed stone camp road for exercise and if your lucky might not see any cars on it Neighboring camps can barely be seen through the woods very private Weekly rentals only....Sat thru Sat.... Bring linens and towels, well behaved pets are ok too.
