150 ACRES Farm, SHEEP AND PETS CORNER Moor house farm holiday let has been running for over 15 years by Angela and daughter Hollie. The renovated wing on the working farm is set in a nature conservation area which is in a very quiet spot on a working farm with the moors on 1 side and fields around the others. The area has lots to see and do, from the caves of Cheddar, Glastonbury and Clarks Village, to the excellent sandy beaches at Burnham and bean. @moorhousefarm The space Moor house farm offers 2 bedrooms, one double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom all looking out onto the garden. Bathroom: modern suite with bath and separate shower. The living space consists of an open plan kitchen/living room/diner taking pried of place is a wood burner set in a feature fireplace (buy logs from local. Shop) . Well-equipped kitchen area with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a well-sized conservatory to enjoy with a seating area. The farmhouse does have the typical cottage characteristics; such as squeaky floorboards and low upstairs ceilings also bear stonewalls and exposed beams. The farmhouse has many amenities including a large tv and Wi-Fi (WiFi is intermittent at times keep this in mind your are in the countryside), a small range of toys. On request there is a crib and high chair available. The property looks out onto and large garden, which consists of a playing frame, mud kitchen, black board and garden toys also a well, sized patio area with seating and BBQ. To the back of the garden are where our chickens and ducks live, every morning they are fed and eggs will need collecting so come and give us a hand your more then welcome to buy eggs through out your stay £1 for half a dozen and £2 for a dozen. We hope to see you soon! this property is joined to the owners home please be considerate of noise. Guest access The only shared area of the property is the garden as animals need to be fed at the top and plants watered when your away for the day Other things to note The chickens and ducks are located at the top of the garden they are fed every morning and the eggs are collected this is a great chance for guests to get hands on with the animals. There is also the chance to count the sheeo and get involved with what happens on a farm. You can also have a tour around the farm to see where all the animals live from cows to sheep. The beginning of March is a great time to get even more hands on with the animals this is when lambing season is in full swing you may even see a lamb be born and get the chance to feed some on the bottle!! We only allow 2 dogs at this property. They must never be left at the property unattended at any time this will result in being asked to leave. We ask for the dogs not to go upstairs and for them to be kept on a lead when not in the garden as we are a Woking farm with many animals
