The Cubby House

Welcome to the Cubby House! It's time to slow down, soak up the scenery and recharge those depleted batteries. Our renovated shipping container is on a private airstrip just near the country town of Woodford, Queensland. It's a private and peaceful escape, with the occasional rumbles of aircraft heard in the distance. If you'd like to enjoy the countryside from above, scenic flights are available at an additional cost. Alternatively, recreational pilots are welcome to fly in and stay. Other things to note Fly and stay: A car is available for hire at an additional cost if you would like to run into town or explore the local area. For airfield details on OzRunways search OZACF. Things to do: SUP at Lake Somerset. We provide two stand up paddle boards for guests to use during their stay.
