Stylish Artisan House in Viking Dublin The space A charming house in trendy Stoneybatter (one of Time Out’s 'coolest' neighbourhoods in the world), a quiet space to rest at the end of a day of adventures around Dublin! Guests are in walking distance to major Dublin attractions, including the Guinness Storehouse, Dublin’s central shopping district, Temple Bar and the Phoenix Park. The Jameson Distillery is less than ten minutes walking from our front door! The house is close by several concert venues (The Olympia, Vicar Street and Grand Social), with other venues (3Arena, Aviva Stadium, Croke Park and Bord Gais Energy Theatre) easily reached by public transport. Our red brick home was built in 1890 and like the area, has evolved into a modern setting that retains historic charm. We have an original open fireplace and flooring, which is now complemented by a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture. The house consists of an open plan living area, with an extendable dining table, comfortable seating and a television. Guests will have access to a full kitchen, including stove, airfryer and Sage barista coffee machine. Downstairs you will also find our bathroom and small outdoor patio, perfect for a coffee or glass of wine! There is one bedroom upstairs, with a king size bed and standing fan. The second room upstairs will be locked and unavailable for guests. As a neighbourhood, Stoneybatter has excellent restaurants, bars and coffee shops so there is no end of excellent food and drink right on your doorstep! Less than five minutes away, guests can enjoy one of Dublin’s top pubs for Irish traditional music (The Cobblestone), a Michelin Guide Italian restaurant and wine bar (Grano) and one of Ireland’s National Museums (Collins Barracks). We love our neighbourhood and are always happy to give recommendations, to suit any taste! Guest access Guests will have total private access to the property for the duration of their stay, with the exception of one locked bedroom upstairs. Other things to note This is our home and available when we are travelling or seeing family!
