Welcome to our bright, clean and comfortable private ensuite room in the historic Bampton, the beautiful village made famous as the filming location for the village scenes in Downton Abbey. Our home is the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire. PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for a private bedroom with an ensuite bathroom only. There is no access to the kitchen or other living areas. The space It’s a brand new 4 bedroom house built with new Cotswolds stone, your bedroom is an en-suite upstairs. We current live in the house, my husband, myself and my 7 years old daughter. I work from home in however I am quiet & like to keep the house tidy & clean. The house is located only 10 mins walking to the centre of the historical village of Bampton/West Oxfordshire. This bedroom is on the first floor , looking to the front houses. It has ensuite-toilet/shower inside the bedroom. Its has a king size bed / wardrobe / brand new mattress/clean bedding. Please note there is no TV in the bedroom. The house has got 4 bedrooms and 3 shower rooms, 2 of them are ensuite (check the other room to book smaller room). We try to be environmentally friendly therefore we only use eco friendly products to clean our house and to wash any of the bedding/towels etc. We ask kindly to be respectful in case we have other guests in the house. If anything is broken on your arrival please let us know as soon as possible; if anything brakes during your stay send me a message so we can try to fix it promptly. If something is missing we are very happy to see if we can accommodate. We are very open to improvements if it may need and happy to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Guest access Welcome! To make you feel at home, we've provided a kettle, along with complimentary tea, coffee, milk, sugar and a mug in your room. Everything is individually supplied in sachets, so you can enjoy a hot drink whenever you like our treat! Kitchen Access: To keep everyone safe, we don't offer access to the kitchen or cooking facilities due to our family's use of the space and food allergies. We really appreciate your understanding. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and you'll find the password in the bedside table in your room. Parking Free off-street parking is available less than a one-minute walk from the house. Please note: As we are on a private estate, parking is not permitted in front of our neighbours' homes or on the pavement. Before your arrival, we'll send you clear directions to the designated parking area. If you have any questions before or during your stay, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Off street free car parking less than a minute walking. IMPORTANT, please note you are not allowed to park in front of neighbour’s house or in any pavement. Instructions will be sent for the appropriate car parking espace. You will find a digital guidebook here on our profile with some touristic ideas, places to eat, you can check it on our Airbnb listing .
