50's Drive-In Room Breakfast For 2

The Grand Castalian Inn Bed and Breakfast is in the heart of Berkeley Springs, WV! An ideal location- quiet and secluded, yet walking distance to our charming downtown. Our luxury bed and breakfast with modern comforts is unlike traditional B&Bs while still preserving the long history of this stunning Victorian home. Each room is a different vacation with their own character and theme. You'll find a room that feels like it was made just for you. The space Located on the second floor, our retro room takes you back to the nostalgia of a 1950's drive-in theater! Recreate the fun as you watch your favorite flick on a 120" projector screen. During intermission, watch kernels pop in our old-fashioned pop-corn machine and enjoy on our 50's diner pub table. The luxurious ensuite bathroom features a giant two-person jetted tub (no shower), period-style make-up vanity, original vintage sink, turkish towels, and terry robes. The room includes retro mini-fridge and Keurig. The first floor opens into a spacious dining area. Enjoy a luxurious breakfast served continental style on our adorned dining tables or lounge on our outdoor patio with bistro table. BREAKFAST- is served between 8AM to 10AM every morning. Fri and Sat will be served an entre item in addition to the continental offerings. At night, warm yourself in front of our fire pit under the stars. With the addition of our outdoor grill you can make it a BBQ night. Guest access There is plenty of parking with a private driveway and several spaces in front of the house and on the street. A ramp on the north side of the house leads onto the porch for easy access. Each door is equipped with a key pad for extra security. Every guest will receive their own code. The second floor is accessed through the grand staircase with the original woodwork and features. Unfortunately, the 50s room is on the second level and is only accessed from the stairway, NO ADA access. During your stay Our goal is your comfort and we strive to exceed your expectations. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We are local and will quickly respond. Other things to note The Castalian Hall is a large Victorian home with two levels. Not all sections of the home are safe for children or pets. The plumbing is replaced, but because of the size of the house, hot water can take a few minutes. Please be patient when running the water. Much of the home is original, and we are trying to preserve the features to last many years to come. The large windows are beautiful but old, some are difficult to open. Please do not force windows, if they are stuck, call us. The stairway is original, please treat it well. Rooms are not noise proof and may carry sound through the spacious home. Quiet time is after 10pm, please be respectful to other guests
