My Cozy apartment is off the beaten track and immersed in a cultural part of Barbados right next to a fishing village where you can get your freshly caught fish of the day! Nestled in the Freshwater Bay village, suite #1 is your 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, fully equipped and furnished temporary residence. Free wi-fi is available along with maid and laundry service at a cost. Both of the Bedrooms are Air-Conditioned. Perched at the edge of the calm waters along the majestic west coast you will find your self. Enjoy a truly authentic experience with the deepest roots of Barbadian culture just a stone’s throw away. Nestled next to a fishing village and 'rum shop' our apartment is not for everyone- it's off the beaten track and surrounded by 'real' Barbados - no posh hotels or glam spas - just a perfect beach, stunning sunsets, charming gardens and true Bajan culture. Freshwater Bay is just a 6-minute drive from the heart of Bridgetown, our capital. Supermarkets, , gas stations, medical facilities, and restaurants offering diverse cuisines, entertainment and shopping facilities all within a 10 minute drive. Please note you do have to drive past an electricity plant on your way - however once in the garden and apartment it's barely noticeable - if you don't believe check the reviews! :) Other things to note I do appreciate the apartment being cleaned once per week if your stay is longer than a week. I have a trusting and loyal maid who has worked with me since the beginning! Her name is Bernadette! The cost is US $30 + $5 per load of laundry (charge of the machine) A roll of toilet paper is provided on arrival for convenience, however through out your stay you have to purchase your own.
