This is a truly unique experience of seclusion less than an hour from Melbourne. Feel the serenity with a drink on the deck. Let your kids roam free. Pack your hiking boots to explore our 260 acre farm, including private access to the Werribee Gorge State Park. Keep an eye out for kangaroos, wedge-tailed eagles, blue-tongued lizards, wallabies, echidnas and many other native critters. Other things to note The house is 100% off-grid with solar panels and a battery bank, so high-energy appliances (like air conditioning) are only an option during daylight hours. No charging of caravans or electric cars. The appliances in the house are all selected to be low-energy usage, so please do not bring your own appliances as these may overload the power system. We supply firewood for heating throughout winter. Please note there is no Microwave or Television, but there is a projector with HDMI/USB-C connection if you want to bring a computer to stream shows via the high-speed internet. Visits from additional guests only allowed with prior agreement from the hosts. We have a caretaker who lives in the black barn about 100 metres from the house. She will keep to herself, but is on hand in case you need anything.
