The award-winning Hawarden Estate Farm Shop in a 5 minute walk away, and the former AA Welsh Pub of the Year, The Glynne Arms, is a stone’s throw at the centre of the village. Further afield, the ancient Roman city of Chester is just 15 minutes away by car, and Snowdonia is an hour to the west.
