Bula! Our home is located on the beautiful paradise island of Wayasewa. Our home is located 50 steps from the beach in the village Wayalailai. We will offer you five meals per day: breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. We source a lot of the produce locally including breadfruit, coconut, banana, papaya, and fish. From these we will cook delicious meals that we enjoy together. PLEASE NOTE! There is a meal charge of 50 FJD per person per day, paid upon arrival in cash. The space Our home is powered by solar panels and we have running water, with the water coming from the springs of Wayasewa. Our home has a toilet with running water and a bucket shower in the backyard. We can wash your laundry for you, and the price depends on the amount of laundry. Mobile internet works on the island but is patchy. Wifi can be arranged in exchange of 5FJD per day. You can walk barefeet almost anywhere. Indoors we don’t wear shoes at all. Please note there is no AC in the rooms. The Room can be locked from the inside for your privacy and there's a sliding locker set with a padlock on the outside of the door to lock up your stuff when you are going away. Guest access How to get here: 1st option: -The Yasawa Flyer is departing everyday from port Denarau at 8:45am and takes about 2H to get to the island, please note you'll have to get off the Ferry at Barefoot Kuata Resort and Manu will pick you up from the ferry for 20FJD/pp Ferry coast is about 200 FJD/pp 2nd option: -Transfer can be organised from Lautoka at the fisheries jetty at your convenience for the time please note the transfer is made with a small fibre glass boat and take about 1:20h to get to the property. Coast is 150FJD/pp Guests use the same outdoor entrance as inhabitants but the rooms have doors that can be locked from the inside. Other things to note Manu organizes many tours: - Ÿou can choose to hike up the Vatuvula hill, go snorkeling with reef sharks, visit the school at Namara village and many others. - Tours are guided by locals and paid on site in FJD. The activities cost between 20–75 FJD/pp, please reserve even amount of cash. Local tips: - Ladies are advised to wear a sarong or long skirt in the village. You can purchase a sarong from the village if you don’t already have one. - You can walk barefoot almost anywhere. Indoors we don’t wear shoes at all. - No hats or caps are allowed in the village but it’s okay to wear one on the beach. - Alcohol or drugs are not allowed, smoking is permitted on the beach but you must collect the stumps. - No littering !!!
