Description
We would like to point out that our intention when designing this house was much more than just building an AirBnb house. Vamoss Home was established to serve the growth of our family, community and communal living space. It is made entirely of organic materials, with wooden floors. You feel that the house is made with love and care. You are invited to bathe with the stars, wash in our waterfall, and stay quiet and peaceful in the middle of amaranth and corn fields with a beautiful view. The space Rooms: Our house has 3 rooms. One single and one double room have a shared bathroom and toilet, while the third room has its own bathroom and toilet. There are shelves, tables and chairs in the rooms, and the floors are wooden. Feather duvets and pure wool blankets will be ready for you. The rooms get plenty of light and are warm. There are mosquito nets on the windows and another glass on the ceiling where you can watch the sky from your bed. Kitchen: We have a fully equipped open kitchen. There is a large refrigerator with freezer and a 5-burner gas stove. We buy olive oil and coconut oil in bulk from farms in Peru. We give 100g of olive oil and 100g of coconut oil free of charge to our guests who come for at least 1 week. If you like to eat healthy, we can also supply you with all the ingredients you may need. You will be able to find many spices and cleaning materials you may need at home. So, it is enough to buy fresh vegetables and fruits to start living. If you think something is missing in the kitchen, let us know first. We will buy it and deduct it from your payment. Veranda: We have a large veranda where you can enjoy the view and the sunlight. It has an umbrella and a seating area. We also have sockets and lighting outside. Bathrooms: The water comes from a natural source with a strong pressure. We have a 2500 litre tank in case the water supply is cut off. In such a case, it can take 1-8 hours to reconnect from the moment you notify us. But yes, we use the tank at that time. We use a gas heater to heat the water. So the hot water is unlimited and works very well for the kitchen, shower, sink and bathtub. Cleaning: We do not enter with shoes. The house is cleaned once a week by Vamoss. We provide cleaning supplies. If there is anything missing, you can let us know or buy it and deduct it from your payment. Laundry: Our house has a top-loading washing machine, the type used in South America, which does not heat the water itself. It has a hot water connection, you have to adjust the temperature yourself. Guest access - We have many musical instruments you can enjoy (with care!). A santur, djembe, didjeridu, guitar, ukulele, bendir, cajón peruano, harmanocias etc. - We have a scooter you can use to reach the village San Salvador. It is easy to call a mototaxi to the entrance of our land. The village is located 20 min. by walk. - There is wood to burn, you just need to cut it with our easy-to-use electric saw so they fit in the woodstove. - The Wi-Fi router is outside of the house. - We have a woodstove for the house. Wood to burn for 1 night costs 20 soles. - On the land, in another house we we have a quality water purificador (Osmosis Inversa) for drinking water. - Our electricity comes from a private network directly, once every 2-3 months it gets cut for max. 4-5 hours. - The infrastructure is based on a biodigester. So to the WC, we throw things that are only from our bodies. Thanks to the biodigester, we do not use any chemical detergents in our house.
