I have lived in this apartment for nearly 5 years, and have loved being in the heart of downtown, close to everything. The building has a rich history and some of the most beautiful spaces in the city. The apartment faces toward the courtyard side, away from street noise, and has balconies that overlook an outdoor patio. Louisville Airbnb regulation requires hosts to stay in the city, so I’m available in case any questions or problems arise. I'm happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, shopping, or activities. We can have as little or as much interaction as you like. The building is on the same block as 8UP rooftop bar, Louisville Palace and Mercury Ballroom music venues, the Brown Hotel (home of the Hot Brown), and several other dining and drinking options. Within a 5-minute walk is 4th Street Live!, the new Omni Hotel, historic Seelbach hotel, and South Fourth boutique shopping. If you have a car, there is a reserved parking space in the basement garage, or a paid lot across the street for $3/day. Uber/Lyft is a great way to get around, but if the weather is nice, downtown also has a great bike sharing program and Bird e-scooters. Many of Louisville’s downtown attractions are also within walking distance of the building. A free city bus called the Lou Lift stops behind the building, and the route connects you to distilleries, shopping, bars, restaurants, and other entertainment. Please note there is *no smoking* in the unit, including the balcony.
