Description

Enjoy a serene getaway at our peaceful lakeside retreat. Nestled along the shores of Idabel Lake, this stay is perfect for nature lovers seeking relaxation. Enjoy the convenience of being steps from the water, with walking and biking trails just minutes away. For winter enthusiasts, the Kelowna Nordic Ski Club is a quick 12-min drive, while Big White Ski Resort is only 30 min from your doorstep. The lake is stocked, making it an ideal spot for fishing year-round. The space Haynes Suite is a cozy, suite-style cabin with two bedrooms, two full-sized bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a living room area with a pull-out couch. Enjoy your morning coffee and evening dinners on the newly constructed lower patio. A propane BBQ and two-person hot tub are situated on the deck, which you are welcome to use. Please note: Access to the home requires going up a flight of stairs, as there is no ramp or ground-level entrance. We want to ensure all our guests are comfortable, so if anyone in your group has mobility concerns, please keep this in mind. Other things to note 1. There is no cell reception at Idabel Lake. Please set up your directions through Google/Apple Maps well prior to turning off Highway 33 to 201 Forestry Road. 2. There is a year-round boil water advisory at Idabel Lake, as the water naturally contains minerals and tannins that can slightly discolour it — most noticeably in the spring. These are harmless organic elements common in rural lake systems, and the water is safe for bathing and everyday use. One full jug of drinking water will be provided for the cooler, but please feel free to bring additional if needed. 3. The closest grocery store is Save-On Foods in Rutland, and the nearest gas station is in Black Mountain if you're driving from Kelowna. If you are driving from Grand Forks/Rock Creek, Beaverdell is your last stop for gas and basic groceries. 4. This listing says Idabel Lake is located in Naramata, but it is about an hour's drive down the 201 Forestry Service Road. This may not be the best fit if you're looking to stay close to the wine trail. Registration details Provincial registration number: H222768249
