Welcome to ‘The Retreat’, a beautifully presented, fully equipped 3-bedroom caravan, complete with decking and outdoor furniture. Located in a prime spot at Newquay Bay Resort in Porth, part of Away Resorts. The perfect Newquay home from home! Located just a 3-minute drive from Porth Beach, 5 minutes to Watergate Bay, and 10 minutes from the vibrant Newquay town centre. Enjoy the holiday park's facilities including heated outdoor and indoor pools on-site and the dog friendly on-site clubhouse. The space The Retreat will become your home for the duration of your stay! We trust if you are the kind of people that like the look of our lovely caravan, you’re the kind of people that will treat the it like your own home. Wifi Newquay Bay Resort doesn’t benefit from good network coverage, so a caravan with wifi is an absolute must when staying at this holiday park! We have wifi, and the password will be shared with you 48 hours prior to your booking. Smart TV Our Smart TV has access to BBC iPlayer, ITV plus, YouTube etc. Decor ‘The Retreat’ is well decorated and presented with some of our favourite surf and beach themed canvases, and ornaments. Amenities You’ll find a kettle, toaster, oven with grill, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, cafetière, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner (and other cleaning supplies), hairdryer, air fryer, cooking equipment and utensils, mugs, plates, and a glass for every type of beverage at ‘The Retreat’. Bedding and towels Bedding and towels are provided with every booking. The cleaning fee is just enough to cover the cost of paying our lovely cleaner to clean the caravan and change the bedding and towels. Because we want you to fully enjoy the ‘Retreat’ experience, bedding and towels will be provided for 6 people with each booking. Parking Plenty of parking is available very close to the caravan. Please note Bedroom number 2 can be either a double bed or two singles, however we keep it as a double. Other things to note On site facilities and guest passes Newquay Bay Resort offers: - A large heated indoor pool equipped with a steam room and sauna - A beautiful heated outdoor pool (seasonal and weather permitting) - A clubhouse featuring kid’s activities, bingo, evening entertainment and a dog-friendly area inside (opening times, food service and entertainment is seasonal) - An on-site Nisa convenience store (opening times are seasonal) - Blue Surf School (seasonal) offering surf lessons, yoga sessions and equipment hire at very reasonable prices - Tidal Treats (seasonal) selling ice cream, crepes and milkshakes - The Shack (seasonal) situated next to the outdoor pool, selling inflatables, swimming goggles and other beach/pool essentials To access the indoor pool, you will need a guest pass. You can either purchase a pay-as-you-go pass or a pass that covers the duration of your stay. Guest passes are available from the lovely staff at Guest Services, located at the entrance of the Holiday Park. In addition, there are various paid activities for children available on site, depending on the season. The full program of activities can be obtained from Guest Services. Nearby: The stunning Porth Beach is about a 3-minute drive from the Holiday Park, or if you enjoy a stroll, it’s a lovely 20-minute walk. The Porth Beach area boasts a gorgeous pub called The Mermaid situated virtually on the beach, along with a tea room, a coffee shop, cafe, and mini golf with a view. Watergate Bay is another must-visit spot, just a 5-minute drive away. And don’t miss out on the famous Newquay beaches, harbour, and town centre, which are all about a 10-minute drive from the holiday park. There’s a BEAUTIFUL coastal path that takes you on a 45-60 minute walk from Porth Beach to Newquay. Along the way, you’ll be treated to stunning views of Whipsiderry Beach, Lusty Glaze, and Tolcarne Beach. Just a heads up, this walk might take you significantly longer, as you’ll probably want to wander down to explore these gorgeous beaches and their cafes, bars and restaurants along the way! Alternatively there’s an alternative coastal path that will take you in the opposite direction to the stunning Watergate Bay.
