The space We welcome you to your home away from home in our newly remodeled bungalow just moments away from the best of the New River Gorge National Park. Soak in the beauty of our National Park in a cabin style home. Encompassing high ceilings in a space that offers the perfect area for getting closer to nature and, simultaneously, away from it all. The main living area boasts an open layout, integrating the living room and kitchen. Enjoy extra sleeping arrangements on our comfortable pull-out sofa with Queen bed! Linens and blankets for the pull-out are located beside the couch in a wicker basket and extra pillows can be found in the first bedroom closet. Outside, our home includes a tree covered fire-pit with seating, pet clean up amenities inside yard area, and a covered back porch where you can immerse yourself in the relaxing serene sounds of nature. Two bundles of firewood are provided, but if more is desired, bundled firewood can be found at several roadside stands in the area as well as local gas stations. There is a propane grill on the back deck area for those who wish to relax and cook at the home. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and a table for dinner or games. Coffee/soaps/dishes are all provided. Cozy up on the couch and enjoy entertainment options on a 70-inch smart TV. One bedroom is equipped with a king size bed and a 50-inch smart TV while the other bedroom boasts a beautiful queen-sized bed accompanied by a third 50-inch smart TV. Bedding and linens are provided for both bedrooms and the pull-out sleeper sofa. The property has 3 outdoor security cameras strategically placed to protect the property by focusing on entrance zones. No cameras are pointed at guest hang out areas. We allow our lovely neighbors free range for their goats in a fenced area behind the house, which can be seen feeding around the lower property from the back deck. They have a livestock dog that lives with the goats that may occasionally bark if alarmed, however, it also settles down quickly. We provide a pet welcome basket with dog friendly blankets for furniture/beds and feeding bowls. We want your pet to have an enjoyable time as well. We request that anyone with pets please do not leave them unattended in the home unless crated. We can provide at least one large dog kennel if requested. Guest access You will access our home at the front entrance using a keypad on the door. This code will be given to you 24 hours prior to checking in. To open, enter the code provided followed by the # key. To lock, simply push and hold the # key until unit locks.
